My Journey with Access Bars®

Updated: Oct 13

When I first encountered Access Bars® in 2022, I was navigating one of the toughest times in my life. My mom, with whom I shared a deep bond, had passed away. The weight of her loss was so immense that it felt as if the world around me had come to a halt. My emotions were caught between numbness and profound grief. Eventually, I was diagnosed with depression, and some people began to label me as “different” or even “crazy.”

Yet within me, there was a small spark that refused to extinguish a quiet whisper of hope yearning to live, breathe, and find meaning again. This fragile hope led me to explore holistic methods and energy work. Although I was unsure how something like “energy healing” could aid my mental state, I was open to trying. Something within urged me to keep searching for a sense of peace.

This is how I discovered Access Bars®. I vividly recall my first session. The facilitator suggested, “Try it, you might just feel more at ease.” There were no guarantees, no intricate explanations—just an invitation to receive. During the session, I lay down and experienced gentle touches on specific points of my head. Gradually, my racing thoughts began to calm. My body relaxed. My mind felt lighter. I didn’t leave completely free from depression, but something shifted. There was a sense of ease a gentle space within me that I hadn’t felt in a long time.

After my second session, that sense of ease deepened. I began to notice simple yet meaningful changes—I regained my appetite, wanted to engage with people, and didn’t isolate myself as much. I continued with a few more sessions, and each one seemed to dissolve another layer of heaviness. I could breathe again.

My curiosity grew. I wanted to understand what had happened to me. Why did this simple process have such an impact? This curiosity led me to learn more about Access Bars® and the philosophy behind it.

Access Bars® might appear simple, but it offers something powerful: a way to quiet the mind, relax the body, and allow life to flow again. Experiencing its impact inspired me to become both a practitioner and later a facilitator so I could help others find the same sense of ease and peace that once guided me through my hardest times.
